We are to impact our community, city, our nation and the world for Jesus, and to teach people to live victoriously. We have a mandate from God to unselfishly give and to serve in any capacity where possible, to reach the ‘unreached’ and tell the untold the hope and future there is for them in Jesus Christ. We will accomplish this by using all biblical gifts and current technologies available to us.



Church: To provide a Godly atmosphere enabling people to grow both spiritually and emotionally. Establishing a secure base for both followers of Christ and those yet to come to the saving grace of God.

  • To teach the word of God both locally and to the outer most parts of the earth.

  • To evangelise both locally and to the outer most parts of the earth.

  • To establish a Christian ministry dedicated to the advancement of religion and benevolence locally, nationally and internationally.

  • To provide pastoral care to parishioners and to the community at large. Baby dedications, water baptisms, premarital counselling, marriage ceremonies, marriage counselling, general counselling, funeral services.

  • To teach from the word of God practical life skills for all ages, colour, race or religion i.e.: building strong marriages, relationships, parenting skills, work ethics, home maintenance, financial budgeting/planning.

  • To establish a ministry training center.

  • To establish a body ministry team within the church involving, equipping and developing the laity, thus undergirding the pastoral duties and care.

  • To establish an intercessory prayer ministry team solely dedicated to the ministry of prayer.

  • To establish a children’s ministry team tending to the teaching and care of the children within the church and beyond.

  • To establish a youth ministry team tending to the teaching and care of the youth within the church and beyond.

  • To establish a praise and worship ministry destined to minister to the church and beyond to the secular regions, including a recording ministry.

  • To establish an evangelism ministry team dedicated to reaching out to the community, the nation of Australia and to all the nations of the earth.

  • To establish a ladies ministry catering to the needs and care of the ladies both within and without the church.

  • To establish a men’s ministry catering to the needs and care of the men both within and without the church.

  • To establish and provide pastoral care and mentoring program in both public and private schools within the community and to the nation of Australia.

  • To establish a prison /correctional services ministry for both men, women and youth providing a rehabilitation program.

  • To provide leadership training programs thus developing and establishing the future of the ministry and beyond.

  • To provide a community care based program to provide relief from poverty, suffering, distress and or misfortune to the destitute and homeless not limited to the boundaries of our community or nation. To provide food, clothing, shelter, counselling and support for all areas of need.
  • To provide support, rehabilitation, care, crisis accommodation and or refuge shelters for the homeless, victims of abuse, drug addicts, alcoholics, addicts of other substance abuse, including recipients of gambling and mental health issues.

Children’s Church

That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as pillars, sculptured in palace style; Ps. 144: 12

  • Committed to meeting the needs, spiritually, emotionally and socially of every child. This ministry at Logan City Christian Church is one that operates on the cutting edge, where the gospel message is packed and presented in an exciting and relevant way. This ministry will aim to have its own praise and worship team made up from the children within the children’s church. Performing arts, music, multimedia, sports and outings will combine to enhance the teaching of the word of God and evangelising the community and nation at large.


Youth Ministry

Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity. 1Tim 4:12 (NKJ)

  • It is our vision to help young people reach their God given destiny and calling in life, committed to meeting the needs, spiritually, emotionally and socially of every youth. We are determined to equip and direct the youth of our community and nation to a bright and positive future. The youth ministry will be dedicated in service to the youth of this nation, to exhort, edify and comfort them in every aspect of life teaching life skills and how to establish, maintain and build relationships with family, friends and peers. The youth ministry will aim to have a vibrant praise and worship team, performing arts, music, multimedia, sports and outings combined to enhance the teaching of the word of God and evangelising the community and nation at large.

  • Part of the youth program consists of a pastoral / mentoring care in both local state and private schools and beyond.


 

Ladies meetings

  • The ministry will provide an exciting ladies ministry catered to meeting their spiritual, emotional and physical needs. Meetings may be held in home group settings teaching the word of God, at times accompanied by guest speakers, outings and evangelistic outreach, Ladies breakfasts/ dinners.

Men’s Meetings

  • The ministry will provide an exciting men’s ministry catered to meeting their spiritual, emotional and physical needs. Meetings may be held in home group settings teaching the word of God, at times accompanied by guest speakers, outings and evangelistic outreach, men’s breakfasts/ dinners.

Seniors Ministry/Care

  • The senior’s ministry will involve a two fold vision. While the church will be dedicated to caring for and meeting the spiritual, emotional and practical needs of the elderly people within and without the church, volunteers from within the group will be encouraged to visit and encourage others in aged care, respite, hospital or home bound.




Community Care

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me” Then the righteous will answer him, “Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?” Matt Ch 25:35,40 (NKJ)


Community Care Mission
  • To minister the unconditional love of God to the lost in our local community irrespective of race, colour, creed or religion in a non-judgmental way.

Community Care Vision

  • To mobilize as many members of the fellowship at Logan City Christian Church as possible to use their God given motivational giftings to display in practical ways Jesus’ love to all (especially non-Christians) in the local community. To facilitate this, we will assist these members to discover their unique gifting and provide opportunities and encouragement for these gifts, once recognized, to be used to minister to the oppressed and needy in our community. In this way these people, having been exposed to God’s unconditional love, may be drawn into the Kingdom. They can than be bought to maturity in Christ and so restart the cycle.

  • To provide a community care service fee of charge to the community and beyond. This ministry will be dedicated to meeting the spiritual, emotional, practical needs of all, providing relief from poverty, suffering, distress and or misfortune to the destitute and homeless.

  • To provide a community care based program not limited to the boundaries of our community or nation.

  • To provide food, clothing, home ware, house and yard maintenance, counselling, budgeting, life skills and support for all areas of need.
  • To provide support, rehabilitation, care, crisis accommodation and or refuge shelters for the homeless, victims of abuse, drug addicts, alcoholics, addicts of other substance abuse, including recipients of gambling and mental health issues.


Evangelism

Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, all authority is given to Me in Heaven and in earth. 19 Therefore go and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things, whatever I commanded you. And, behold, I am with you all the days until the end of the world. Amen

Mission

  • To present the full gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost and hurting community, providing them with biblical truths, exposing evolutionary based mindsets and other stumbling blocks which influence our community. We also endeavour to reflect the power and love of God working in our lives, ensuring all new members of the body of Christ are brought to maturity through the discipleship program, prayer and practical help.

Vision

  • It is our vision, through this evangelism and follow up program, new converts will remain committed to their decision to follow Christ. Through careful planning and committed counsellors we aim to ensure new converts are confident in their decision, giving them the strength and support needed to mature and grow in their faith to follow God's ultimate plan for their lives. It is also our aim to train and equip them to fulfill the great commission Christ gave us before His ascension.

  • We will achieve this by various means such as, street witnessing, outreach events, crusades, street vans working in conjunction with community care. It is our vision to train and develop a team to evangelise our community, city, nation and the outer most parts of the earth.




Music/Media

  • To establish a ministry involving the recording audio /visual of praise and worship, preaching/teaching, television production and radio as a means of evangelism.


 

Hospital Visitation

  • To provide a team of caring, well trained Christians and leaders to tend to the needs of patients and their families, meeting their spiritual, emotional and practical needs.


 

Business/ Civic Leaders

  • To provide business and civic leaders with pastoral support meeting their spiritual, emotional and personal needs. Outreach in this area will involve breakfasts, luncheons or dinners accompanied by Christian praise and worship and inspiring teaching from the word of God.


 

Prison Ministry

  • To establish a prison /correctional services ministry for men, women and youth providing a rehabilitation program.

  •  

  • In conjunction with community care, to provide spiritual, emotional and practical support, housing, jobs, family support, practical needs.


 

Local and World Missions

  • To establish a missions based church effectively reaching out supporting other missions, missionaries and churches based in the mission field both locally and internationally.

  • To plant churches in the mission fields both locally and internationally.
  • To plant orphanages in the mission fields both locally and internationally.
  • To plant schools in the mission fields both locally and internationally.
  • To establish feeding programs in the mission fields both locally and internationally.
  • To establish training centers, teaching people a trade and to build strong work ethics


 

Training center

  • To establish a multi purpose training center to train, equip and release

    Ministers, counsellors, evangelists, missionaries, audio visual technical, praise and worship and more.


 



Tenets of Faith

All Ministers of Religion who desire to hold, or currently hold a certificate of ordination, a position in the body ministry team, or hold a position in leadership, ministry of helps, or assist in any of the departments of Logan City Christian Church Ltd. are to adhere to and actively promote in their ministry the Tenets of Faith of Logan City Christian Church.

The Tenets of Faith as adhered to by Logan City Christian Church:

The deity of our Lord Jesus Christ.

His sinless life.

His miracles.

His victorious and atoning death through His shed blood.

His bodily resurrection.

His ascension to the right hand of the Father.

His personal return in power and glory as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

The fall of man, thus necessitation of rebirth through confession and belief in Jesus Christ.

The reconciliation of man to God by the substitutionary death and shed blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The resurrection of believers unto everlasting life and unbelievers unto everlasting punishment in hell.

The present supernatural ministry of the Holy Spirit and His gifts into and among believers since the day of Pentecost and continuing until our Lords return.

The bible reveals to us the mind of Christ and the complete revelation of God’s will for the salvation of men; and is the inspired, infallible authoritative Word of God.

There is one God manifested in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit

The reality of Satan and his present influence over the unbeliever.

Baptism in water by full immersion in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit is enjoined upon all who have repented and believe

The Baptism with the Holy Spirit, accompanied by speaking with other tongues is promised to every believer empowering them to be an effective witness for Christ. This experience is distinct from and subsequent to the new birth.
